Ken is a self-taught artist from rural Kentucky, whose work includes painting, printmaking, and pottery. He considers himself to be a 'lifetime learner' and uses art as the vehicle to explore and learn more about the world around him. Much of his work reflect his optimistic views on rural folk culture, river life and simple pleasures.
You can visit Ken every Final Friday of the month at studio 400 at the Pendleton Art Center in downtown Cincinnati or by appointment.

Amazing!!! I can’t wait until the era of covid is behind us. I daydream about coming to Kentucky and seeing this town that inspires you so much, inspires this art.
Congrats on the blue!!! It looks great. 💙
thank you! I can’t wait for the end of COVID either. If there’s one thing i’ve learned from this, is to NEVER take the company of friends or invitations to social events for granted. In the meantime, i’ll keep making pots…
I totally get it. I was always kind of a homebody, more likely to entertain here at my place then to go anywhere else. But man, thinking back on all the events and hangouts I missed really stings now. I will try to learn from that feeling and apply it to pandemic-free days.
