I had a great time at Po Wen Liu’s workshop at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts.
Not only did I learn about making pots, I also learned about tea, and the lidded tea bowl.

Trying to duplicate Po Wen’s Form, I made this green and white tea bowl.

It wasn’t intentional, but, since I am from the USA, I super-sized the bowl. It works, but holds just a little over 8 ounces. My goal was 6-8.

I need more practice, and decided to make a grouping of teabowls-using Po Wen’s bowl as a model

Teabowls with lids

The next step will be surface design–my favorite part! Will update soon!
UPDATE: I fired these forms! See them here: https://www.kenswinson.com/2025/09/18/kiln-opening-18-september-2025/
