painting outdoors is always an adventure. You never know what you will get. After agreeing to paint outdoors at Federal Hill in Old Washington, I was a little bit nervous. the morning sky was very dark and there was even a little bit of rain.
The event was a fundraiserto help preserve this landmark property and I chose a wide panoramic view of the home.
Eventually, the weather improved and lots of nice people came to enjoy the day in the end. I got a nice painting. There was even some blue in the sky!
I had so much fun painting at Federal Hill in Old Washington on Saturday. It’s always inspiring to see my community come together, bringing all their different talents to create something beautiful and special–in this case raise money to preserve a 200 year old landmark.
