Wow you’re really branching out with those different glaze tests! I love the tea bowls. Amazing work!

Thank you! The two blues are older tests—over white porcelain. I’m excited to finally know what they will do. I’m going to get some test results for STAIN WASHES soon! Can’t wait to see the results. Wish I lived close enough to show up for GLAZE CLUB!

Ken I just can’t believe how quickly you have mastered these cups and teapots!!!!!!!! Love the joy and peace – always. But wowzer – I think I remember you saying that the lid is hard to master and you’ve got all of these fun shapes and choices in just a couple of years time. I’m still waiting for the universe to connect you and John Britt – you would have so much fun together. Be well! `Hope to see you soon. ~ K.

      Hi there Kate!!!

A lid is still hard to master–along with all the other components, but with lots of practice and some really good instructors, I have a lot more confidence, and less disappointing kiln openings, lol! One of these days, I’m going to visit the potters in North Carolina, and John is on my list of MUST VIST studios—his videos about glaze chemistry were a breakthrough for me, and I’d love the chance to thank him in person.

      See you soon!
      Ken
