We are having a great winter this year with lots of snow! Buddy and I made it outside last night with our camera to capture a few of the buildings in the historic village of old Washington. Click any of the photos below for a better view.

After the snowfall, we had a gorgeous, frosty and misty winter morning.

Even though it was brutally cold (for Kentucky) at 14F, I couldn’t resist going for a short walk up Federal Hill to get some snapshots.

On my way home, i stopped by the Wilson House in downtown historic old Washington. By the end of the walk my shutter button was frost bit, but worth it to capture such a pretty winter morning.

I’m so honored and grateful to be a part of the history of this wonderful community! You can visit anytime, but if you’d like a chance to meet other history lovers, tour the inside of Federal Hill’s mansion-there will be a fundraiser on May 9th, 2026. The snow *should* be melted by then.
hope you all are staying warm!
