Work in Progress – Surface design for teapot

I recently took a ‘pouring vessels for tea and coffee’ class with Po Wen Liu at Arrowmont school of art and crafts. 5 stars, highly recommended-will share more about that soon.

Now that I’m back in my studio, i started working on the surface design. The dark clay teapot is painted with white clay, then I carved frog designs stay tuned to see how it turns out after I fire and glaze!
