The Great Escape – Charcoal Drawing

Ever since my trip to Mexico, I have had a new appreciation for charcoal drawing. It was inspiring to see how beautifully you can express yourself as an artist-using very basic materials. The biggest limitations are your imagination.

Sometimes sheep are used to represent people who don’t think for themselves, but follow the group. I love the symbolism of the rogue sheep, jumping the fence to explore the rest of the farm.
