The Shouse House

Artist, Diane Shouse lives in a beautiful stone house in Maysville, KY. With a view of the city, river and two bridges,
her home is a natural location for plein air painters. Her garden is more than a work of art, it is a miracle. During
one of the
worst recorded droughts in our area, her garden was in full bloom...complete with sunflowers, unintentionally planted. Having painted Diane's view during the (all green
) summertime, I decided to work on a great piece of architecture...the house.
